What You'll Do :
- Collaborate with suppliers to quote and award bid packages based on Total Cost of Ownership while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for assigned parts, expediting as needed, and resolving component supply issues with suppliers and engineering teams.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and participate in on-site production audits to ensure exceptional supplier management.
- Research industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Support initiatives like "Design for Manufacturing and Assembly" by sourcing innovative solutions.
- Monitor quality and delivery metrics, implementing corrective actions with vendors as needed.
- Evaluate supply chain risks and adapt supplier strategies as appropriate.

What You'll Bring :
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with numbers accurately.
Strong critical thinking skills for decision-making, root cause analysis, and seeking alternative solutions.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and shift focus when necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
A collaborative mindset and flexibility to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications :
1+ years of experience in purchasing or negotiation is a plus but not required.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
