  • Prepare draft reports, calculations, drawings, letters, permit applications, and other documentation associated with task assignments
  • Finalize documents in accordance with review comments received from the project manager
  • Participate in client meetings and phone calls
Requirements

  • Ability to carry out specific tasks assigned by project managers
  • Willing to take on new tasks and assignments to build work experience portfolio
  • Competent with basic math skills including unit conversions and simple engineering calculations
  • Competent with basic chemistry concepts including assessing the interaction of chemicals with the environment as indicated by chemical and physical properties such as melting point, water solubility, vapor pressure, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Software proficiency (including but not limited to) Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint .
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability for occasional overnight travel.
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time paying close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds and work outside in heat and cold.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
