Job Summary / Description :

WBAY-TV seeks a News Photojournalist to integrate written, video, and audio content into stories for Action 2 News newscasts, as well as for wbay.com and station social media sites. This person will shoot and edit videos and interviews for use in newscasts, as well as operate TVU backpacks and live trucks for live shots.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited) to the following :

• Shooting, editing, and posting videos for newscasts, websites, mobile apps, and social media accounts.
• Editing videos, images, and interviews to match scripts for use in newscasts.
• Ability to shoot video with phone or camera as needed.
• A deep understanding of how to engage users on social media, as well as social listening techniques to discover stories.
• Other Duties as Assigned
