Job Description :

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. is seeking talented and motivated entry-level Civil Engineers to join our Engineering Services department. This department leads the design activity within our company, and all our engineers cultivate their technical skills and knowledge in their discipline. Ferrovial Construction US Corp will provide Civil Engineers with practical experience that will aid in progressing their careers in design services. We are rapidly expanding our presence in the United States and looking to cultivate future leaders who demonstrate a collaborative attitude, innovation, and a strong drive for results. We are looking for professionals who are interested in the following departments :

  • Roads
  • Drainage
  • Environmental
  • Structural
  • Geotechnical

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in reviewing design plans for applicable engineering disciplines on complex infrastructure projects.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to technical design challenges.
  • Utilize design software to assist in creating and modifying engineering designs.
  • Perform basic calculations for applicable engineering disciplines.
  • Interpret and apply specifications and construction drawings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, integrity, and ethics in all engineering activities.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering obtained from an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • E.I.T. (Engineer-in-Training) certification or on track to obtain it.
  • Familiarity with design software including MicroStation, OpenRoads, and / or Geopak, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering.
  • Demonstrated qualities of leadership and hard work.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply engineering skills to develop creative problem-solving designs / ideas.
