Hazen has outstanding opportunities for motivated, talented people that enjoy teamwork and collaboration, client service, and solving our clients’ most difficult challenges. You will be supported by multiple mentors on projects and local office leadership.
Candidate will provide Instrumentation and controls engineering services to support planning, design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater facilities. Candidate should have an interest in industrial control systems design including P&ID development, water / wastewater instrumentation, industrial control system network architecture, PLC and SCADA system specifications, and related activities.
Candidate will serve as an I&C engineer and designer on projects for water and wastewater facilities.
Responsibilities include :
- Preparing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system network diagrams, control panel wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, I&C system specifications, and installation details.
- Coordinating with the other disciplines (process / mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and site civil).
- Inspection, testing, and approval of I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities.
