Job descriptionProvide top notch class instruction. Develop classes that are physically challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe. Promote programs, classes, and membership through social media and networking. Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with business policies. Set up classroom appropriately : Props, Mat Spacing, Music and Lighting. Create meaningful and lasting connections with students. Be a gate keeper of the space. Greet students before class and follow up after class. Clean studio space. Stay up-to-date and always implement YogaSix education standards. Always remain a student, eager for growth, coaching, and continued development. Build community and connections Any other duties as assigned The ability to create connection. Knowledge of the techniques and material The ability to communicate and the willingness to be in conversation. Being willing to tune in to our needs and the needs of our team member Leading from a place of rich personal experience Yoga Teachers - Minimum 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification Yoga Sculpt - Fitness Accreditation / Certified Trainer or 200 hour Yoga Training (with experience teaching group fitness classes) CPR-certified Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service Genuine ability to connect with complete strangers on a personal level Professional and effective communication skills Be a team player who supports and uplifts all staff members Demonstrate the ability to teach safe, fun, and creative classes with a genuine interest in student success Punctual and reliable

We are seeking Yoga & Yoga Sculp Teachers to join YogaSix. As a Yoga & Yoga Sculpt Teacher, you will plan and lead fitness classes, ensuring that people of all levels are able to participate. Your goal is to help clients reach their fitness objectives and have fun while doing it! YogaSix Downers Grove is building an amazing tribe of dedicated Teachers who want to grow and take their teaching to the next level. We are seeking warm, outgoing, engaging team members who thrive in a community environment and are committed to guiding classes that are empowering, energizing, and FUN.
