You will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities, building and leading high-performing project teams, and delivering complex work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Also, you will work alongside representatives from Calista and Calista Brice and will foster strong relationships with the client, partners, and community representatives while ensuring alignment with project goals and long-term strategic objectives./ppIn conjunction with the Environmental BU executive team, develop overall directions to guide planning at the service, client and contract level./ppEnsure business development and program delivery efforts stay aligned to strategic goals./ppEnsure programs meet the expected goals and deliver the planned benefits./ppIdentify, analyze and prepare for program risks and ensure compliance with quality, safety and security processes./ppSupport policies and procedures of the organization to enhance overall operation and effectiveness with Safety as a primary focus./ppIdentify and manage conflicts and support a high-performance team environment where diversity is valued, and people are treated with respect and dignity./ppProvide direct input by generating leads and providing technical support for proposal development./ppCollaborate with various groups within Calista, Bilista and multiple client organizations./ppWork in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner./ppPerform any other duties as assigned./ppThis position has supervisory responsibilities to include but is not limited to Environmental Scientists, Engineers, Chemists, Technicians, and Project Managers within the Environmental Business Unit./ppExperienced leader with appropriate industry experience./ppStrategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and operational focus./ppDesire and drive to develop and grow an expanding environmental services portfolio./ppKnowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules governing environmental projects and programs./ppAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions./ppExcellent communication skills, both oral and written, to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations./ppAbility to work in a team environment./ppAbility to work in an Alaska Native Corporation multi-business environment./ppBachelors degree in science or engineering discipline./ppTen or more years of proven experience in environmental services, leading projects/programs in excess of $50M./ppValid state drivers license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Brice Engineerings Driving Policy./ppAbility to pass a drug, driving and background screenings./ppFive or more years experience in developing complex infrastructure in mining-related projects is preferred./ppThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
