Job Title: Environmental Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Environmental Technician at a prestigious work site in North Phoenix. You will play a vital role in supporting the safety and operational efficiency of our site.
Responsibilities
- Escort Service: Drive a company vehicle to work site locations while a tanker truck follows. Monitor the truck as it unloads chemicals, which can take 2 to 5 hours depending on the chemical.
- Janitorial Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks such as taking out dry trash and replacing bins with new liners. You will not handle hoses or participate in chemical clean-up.
- Chemical Movement: Use a drum dolly and pallet jacks to move 55-gallon drums. Load a box truck with chemicals, separate them according to type, take inventory, and assist with loading.
Essential Skills
- Experience in labor, janitorial work, and cleaning.
- Skills in loading and materials handling.
- Valid driver's license.
- GED or High School diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- OSHA 40 hr. Hazwoper Certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience in sweeping and general labor.
- Knowledge of chemical handling.
- Ability to follow process-oriented instructions.

Work Environment
The work site is located in North Phoenix. The schedule is a 12-hour shift from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with two rotational shifts: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday, and Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday. The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, in the Fab area, loading and unloading drums. All necessary PPE, including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and a chemical apron, will be provided.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
