We are seeking aEnvironmental Techniciansto become part of our team!

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Address environmental issues by identifying short term andlong rangeissues that must be addressed.
  • Gather environmental data including air and water by using various monitoring tools.
  • Maintainenvironmentrecords, logs and air control reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Manage storm water retentionprogram(zero storm water may enter the bay).
  • Act as a liaison between local, state and federal agencies such as DEH, APCD, MIWP, RWQCB, SWRCB, EPA, Coast Guard and US Navy.
  • Conduct daily inspections related to housekeeping and Best Management Practices (BMPs).
  • Communicate with client, subcontractors and all employees on site on environmental issues.
  • Requirements for this role include :

  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of environmental experience or schooling.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to coach and educate employees on the effects of specific jobs and the environment.
  • Strong computer skills, data entry and developing reports.
  • Safety training.
