We are looking to add new talent to our growing team! We are currently seeking a Project Manager, Environmental Scientist / Engineer to work in a technical support role with highly skilled professionals on diverse project teams in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing group and company and get involved in a variety of projects for a diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position located in our Honolulu, HI or Maui, HI office.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will :

• Will be able to work collaboratively on all aspects of our work in Hawai'i to address client goals and objectives, with a primary focus on :
• Consulting support for multi-media compliance under NPDES, UIC, Clean Water Act, State Cleanup Program (HEER Office), RCRA, and other regulatory programs.
• Conducting facility and construction site compliance inspections.
• Preparing proposals, project reports / deliverables, and regulatory compliance submissions.
• Have a minimum of five years of experience with State of Hawai'i regulatory programs.
• Have experience conducting site investigations to delineate the extent of contamination in soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and soil gas, including Phase I / Phase II environmental assessments.
• Be capable of fully managing financial, technical, and regulatory aspects of projects.
• Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
• Demonstrate very strong verbal communications and written skills including client and regulatory deliverables.
• Be effective in assigning and managing work.
• Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills to junior level staff.
• Possess skills in quality control, planning, cost estimating, and scheduling.
• Direct environmental field observation and testing programs.
• Develop a working understanding of H&A's other consulting practice areas and actively support marketing other services to existing clients.
• Perform all work in accordance with company and client Health & Safety protocols.
• Be able to travel inter-island on a periodic basis.

The salary range for this position in Honolulu, HI or Maui, HI is $105,000 - $115,000 annually . Actual compensation will be based upon a variety of factors such as education, related work experience, certificates, skills, and current market conditions. Haley & Aldrich reviews salary ranges each quarter to assess competitiveness with the market.
