Description :
This position will provide administrative support and assistance to the Environmental, Health, and Safety Department. Primary responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to, performing various administrative functions to support the EHS function for NSK Americas, interacting with all locations for collecting and tracking data, creating reports and presentations for the EHS department, managing EHS Department related purchase requisitions, managing SharePoint, coordinate multiple third-party web-based programs, and have knowledge of NSK policies and procedures. This job requires the ability to act independently with minimal supervision and make decisions based on interpretation of NSK procedures. This job is responsible for identifying and defining problems, reacting to problems, suggesting potential solutions to problems, and has limited decision-making responsibility. This job contributes information in developing recommendations and has some role in defining procedures and changes necessary to implement results.
Responsibilities :
- Manage access and provide support for various third-party application systems for risk assessments, incident investigation and reporting, Accuweather, MSDS Online, Brady link, BLR training, ECO Track, Lobby Guard, and others.
- Provides general administrative and administrative support for NSK Americas EHS.
- Perform routine purchase order requisition, billing, tracking receipt of services, and tracking of expenses.
- Create various reports and presentations, including monthly EHS reports, monthly EHS presentations using data collected from locations and the EHS Department.
- Manage the overall corporate EHS activity calendar and coordinate schedules within NSK Americas.
- Manage record retention and storage for both physical and electronic records.
- Track EHS activity for both internal and external requests for information.
- Attend EHS meetings and compile notes for distribution.
- Perform various EHS related inspections
- Coordinate the ordering, printing, and distribution of EHS Materials to all NSK Americas locations.
- Track and report department related data and key performance indicators, including but not limited to : hours worked, incident investigation due date completion, environmental data, and safety data.
- This position requires up to approximately 2 weeks travel per year, travel will be planned in advance of any trips.
- NSK Americas is part of a Global company, and this position requires some flexibility to be available outside of normal business hours in order to coordinate efforts and attend meetings.
- This Job can be performed under a hybrid schedule with in-office and remote work schedules.
Qualifications :
This job requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 to 4 years of position-related experience; preferred formal education is a Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree and 4 to 6 years of position-related experience.
