The Role :
As a EHS Manager you will be responsible for managing the implementation and development of all transportation, security, environmental, health, and safety programs. This role ensures compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Corporate regulatory requirements while reporting directly to plant management on all EHS matters.

The company is known for its innovation and leadership in the energy storage industry, supporting critical sectors such as telecommunications, IT, utilities, and power supply systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain environmental, health, safety, and security procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements at all levels.
- Lead the preparation and submission of mandatory reports to regulatory agencies, ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of all related records and documents.
- Oversee internal audits and compliance programs, including OSHA, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, air quality, transportation, and safety training.
- Stay current on regulatory changes by attending workshops and seminars and reviewing relevant regulatory literature.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and external entities such as local communities, regulatory agencies, and other external organizations.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and perform statistical analysis of incidents and accidents, ensuring thorough documentation of findings.
- Develop and present training materials in accordance with relevant CFR regulations, focusing on compliance and safety standards.
- Manage hazardous materials procedures, including shipping and compliance with safety regulations.
- Administer the company’s security program, ensuring the protection of both personnel and assets.
- Manage worker compensation programs and oversee property and casualty insurance auditing and reporting.
- Conduct safety orientations and meetings with employees, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Chair safety committee meetings, discussing safety issues, trends, and goals.
- Coordinate with third-party auditors and respond to formal investigations by OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
- Oversee first responder and medical emergency programs, ensuring preparedness and compliance.
- Perform audits on disposal facilities and manage contracted services for regulated waste, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Maintain and audit all required permits in accordance with environmental regulations, ensuring continued compliance.
