We are currently seeking to hire an Environmental Estimator to join our team, and I would appreciate your assistance in finding a qualified candidate for the role.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost estimation and project management, with a focus on environmental projects. Key Responsibilities :
- Cost Estimation : Create accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for environmental projects, covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Project Assessment : Review project scope, site conditions, technical reports, and regulatory requirements to evaluate project feasibility and costs.
- Proposal Preparation : Partner with the business development team to craft competitive project proposals, including budget breakdowns, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Vendor Coordination : Source and assess quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with project needs.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all cost estimates and project plans meet local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Data Analysis : Perform cost analysis and market research to inform project costing strategies.
- Client Interaction : Support client meetings by presenting estimates, answering questions, and offering cost-effective solutions for project execution.
- Documentation : Keep detailed records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting data for future reference and audit purposes.
Qualifications :
3–5 years of experience in environmental estimating or a similar role.
Strong analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
