Job Description
Ø Serve as an expert for obtaining air permits and managing air compliance programs for the Salt Lake City plant assets.
Ø Assist with compliance solutions for a variety of complex technical / regulatory issues.
Ø Work closely with plant technical, projects, operations, and maintenance teams and develop strong relationships to understand specific processes and develop a permitting and compliance strategy to ensure support to maintain regulatory compliance while meeting the plants strategic objectives.
Ø Achieve expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Ø Manage deliverables and schedules to established KPIs.
Ø Provide training as needed to staff to ensure air quality program knowledge.
Ø Conduct independent technical reviews of air quality programs to ensure compliance and quality environmental management programs.
Ø Maintain and continuously improve the Environmental Management System for Air Quality programs.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Minimum of BS in engineering (chemical, mechanical, environmental) or related discipline.
v At least 5 years of solid air quality experience, with a high degree of technical competence in Permitting, NSPS, PSD, NSR, BACT, LAER, and MACT requirements. Specific UDEQ experience a plus.
v In-depth understanding of the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Technology, and Chemical industry.
v Familiarity with CEMS, COMS, CPMS, stack testing and fence line monitoring measurement a plus.
v Demonstrated leadership ability to build, coach, and mentor collaborative teams.
