This position is 100% remote, but you will be required to work during Guam hours which are 6 : 00am-3 : 00pm ChST.

Job Description :

We are seeking an Environmental Engineering Technician to assist with environmental compliance, remediation, and sustainability efforts for naval installations. This role involves technical support, data analysis, regulatory compliance reviews, and coordination with engineering teams to ensure environmental projects align with federal and military standards.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Support environmental compliance programs, including air quality, water quality, hazardous waste, and spill response.

Assist in environmental site assessments, investigations, and remediation efforts.

Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data from remote sources.

Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and compliance documentation.

Review and interpret federal, state, and military environmental regulations.

Support Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and database management.

Communicate with NAVFAC engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Provide remote assistance for field teams conducting site inspections and sampling.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :

5 years of experience in environmental compliance, remediation, or a similar role.

Knowledge of federal and military environmental regulations (e.g., Clean Water Act, RCRA, CERCLA).

Experience with environmental data management and GIS applications.

Strong technical writing skills for reports and regulatory documentation.

Provide satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship. (U.S. or naturalized). Task orders may allow waiver of this requirement should projects allow in certain regions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working with NAVFAC, the Department of Defense (DoD), or federal environmental programs.

Certifications such as HAZWOPER (40-hour) or Environmental Compliance Inspector.

Familiarity with environmental modeling software and remote sensing technologies.

Military or government contracting experience.
