Job descriptionProject management experience running large scale projects in a health plan (health insurance) and / or managed care setting Previous Epic implementation experience for a health plan, preferably for Epic Tapestry Familiarity with health plan / managed care operations and high-level workflows Prerequisite training with Epic - Overview of Implementation course Previous experience in the Epic Implementation Director role as defined by Epic
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Proven experience leading complex, large scale Epic implementation and / or upgrade projects
- Experience using Epic resources and tools – Orion, Galaxy, Nova and Sherlock to coordinate project activities
- Ability to manage the scope, cost, schedule and quality of the project
- Ability to develop and maintain project plans and documentation (charter, requirements, project timelines / schedules, communication, risk, and change management plans)
- Ability to work with resource managers to ensure resource availability and effectively manage allocated resources across project priorities
- Ability to evaluate project progress on a regular basis and prioritize any dependencies issues, and risks
- Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and drive informed decision making
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with a track record for timely delivery
- Proficiency using MS Office Suite, specifically MS Project, Visio, and SharePoint
