Purpose of Position :
We are seeking a private equity investment professional on the US Secondaries Investment Team, based in NY, who would report to a Managing Director and execute private equity secondary deals with senior members of the team. Investment opportunities will include a focus on GP-led deals, such as single company secondary transactions across the US PE buyout universe that require a similar level of due diligence as direct buyout or co-investment opportunities. The individual will also execute on traditional LP stake transactions and will be able to leverage Pantheon's longstanding relationships across the Primary and Co-investment platforms. Key Responsibilities :
The successful candidate is expected to assume the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required :
- Executing the diligence and financial modelling of private equity secondary investment opportunities including, assisting in managing the flow of diligence materials received, contributing to diligence meetings, supporting transaction due diligence, preparing investment memos, and presenting the opportunity to the Secondary Investment Committee.
- Coordinating closely with senior team members on deal negotiations and deal completion.
- Monitoring the evolution and performance of completed transactions as well as selected brand-name buyout funds across the US PE market.
- Supporting other secondaries business development and origination initiatives and interfacing with Clients.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy.
Knowledge & Experience Required :
Expected base salary range : $105,000 - $110,000
Actual base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual experience, skills and qualifications.
In addition to the above salary, Pantheon offers a generous employee benefits package and successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
