Job descriptionProven experience as an General Motors Automotive Technician Certification in automotive technology or related field Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and quality workmanship Valid driver's license Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and technicians in the shop Ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards Diagnose and address any technical issues that arise during the repair process Collaborate with the Service Advisor to schedule repairs and prioritize workflow Train and mentor junior mechanics to enhance their skills and knowledge Maintain a safe and organized working environment Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in automotive technology High school diploma or equivalent qualification Certification in automotive mechanics or a related field Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or similar role Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostic procedures Familiarity with General Motors makes and models Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively Competitive hourly compensation of $40 per hour Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with company match Paid time off and holiday pay Career development and training opportunities
