Mentor Teacher

Pay Rate : $23.82 per hour

Mentor Teacher

The Mentor Teacher role is critical in guiding Head Start teachers to further develop their planning, instruction, and content knowledge. Mentor Teachers help orient teachers to their school community and to teaching in general. Mentor Teachers will also provide training and technical support for this Head Start career. Generally, as a minimum requirement, the applicant must have a baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field with at least two years of experience working with young children and families.

In many cases, we can help Applicant meet the minimum educational requirements after hire. Applicants who will be able to meet the educational requirements within a reasonable time after hire are encouraged to apply.

Schedule :   Full-Time, 7 : 30am to 4 : 30pm hours, Monday thru Friday (40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year)
