Position Summary : We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. This position requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment.
Essential Duties :
- Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess students' language proficiency and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance language acquisition.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and administer assessments to measure student learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and teaching practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with ESL teaching methodologies and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
