A leading Electrical Contractor based in Long Island City, NY, is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive bids and accurate cost estimates for building and transit projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to obtain the necessary information for estimates.
• Perform take-offs and develop detailed material, labor, and time cost breakdowns.
• Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure comprehensive and competitive bids.
• Stay current with industry trends, material costs, and labor rates.
• Prepare bid proposals and submit them on time to prospective clients.
• Communicate with clients as needed during the bidding process.
