Position : Database ETL Developer
Location : Austin, TX 78763
Duration : 6-12 Months
Position Objective :
The selected Contractor will provide the skills and talent to support Generate application services so that OSPI can improve data processing efficiency and meet federal reporting requirements. The contractor will meet the following objectives, perform database activities related to data storage to data processing, produce data deliverables for each program engaged with the Generate Application, meet all program acceptance criteria that makes the application useful, construct the application so that it can assist OSPI with data management and reporting, and provide the skill sets needed to support OSPI program successful use of Generate.
- Prepare accurate data for OSPI to improve efficiency in submitting the Washington State EDFacts report to the Department of Education by the required submission date.
- Collaborate with program staff to define the data requirements and timelines.
- Develop robust ETL code compatible with Generate and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Create thorough documentation of business rules, ETL processes, and technical details for future reference and replication by the end of each annual submission.
- Maintain the Generate system in operating order to perform the functions above.
