You will work alongside an experienced Environmental Services Director and leadership team in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Position Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents in our skilled nursing and long-term care community.

This role is essential to infection prevention, resident safety, and overall quality of life.

Schedule

• 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities

• Weekend rotation required

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout assigned areas

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

• Remove trash and soiled linens

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Ensure equipment is clean and in proper working condition

• Report unsafe or unusual conditions to supervisor immediately

• Complete job-related tasks assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Maintenance Director

• Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred)

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Reliable attendance and transportation

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Solid work ethic and commitment to customer service

• Willingness to learn and follow facility procedures

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

• Experience working around residents and families

• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals

• Familiarity with professional cleaning equipment (mops, brooms, vacuums, etc.)

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Safe work practices and awareness of OSHA guidelines
