Position Summary
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for soliciting private event business and driving private event revenue within their location through prospecting and fostering relationships with individuals, corporations, and private event industry cohorts.
This role will provide overall support to clients for their event as the main contact for all guest inquiries and will work closely with clients about details of their event utilizing a thorough knowledge of the City Winery spaces, food, and beverage. This individual must have the ability to successfully materialize the vision of the client and exceed guest and client expectation at every opportunity, while maintaining the interest of City Winery's brand and overall business.
This position is responsible for communicating and partnering with the operations teams on the ground to ensure client's needs and expectations are exceeded. A successful candidate will be team-oriented, enthusiastic, and have a solid understanding of event revenue generation.
