We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events. The Event Assistant will provide support to the event team, ensuring smooth operations, assisting with logistical coordination, and contributing to the overall success of each event.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning Support : Assist in the planning and preparation of events, including managing timelines, budgets, and vendor communications.
Vendor Coordination : Communicate with vendors (e.g., caterers, AV teams, decorators) to ensure that services are delivered as required.
Guest Management : Support guest list management, guest registration, and ensure attendees have a seamless experience.
On-site Event Assistance : Provide on-the-day support, including troubleshooting, managing attendee inquiries, and ensuring the smooth flow of event activities.
Administrative Tasks : Handle event-related administrative duties, including preparing materials, maintaining event records, and updating event databases.
Post-Event Follow-up : Assist with post-event tasks, such as thank-you notes, surveys, and collecting feedback to improve future events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field is a plus).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Basic knowledge of event planning tools and software.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
