What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop comprehensive event action plans, including strategies, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of events

Collaborate on contract negotiations and statements of work (SOWs) with procurement

Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, addressing any issues that arise promptly

Conduct post-event analysis on key metrics to assess success and areas for improvement

What Is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and tradeshow management

Proven track record of managing successful corporate events and tradeshows

Strong project management skills

Willingness to travel 25% to 35% of the time

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience in the biotechnology, diagnostics, or healthcare sector

Knowledge of current event trends and best practices

Certification in event planning (CMP, CSEP, etc.)
