Educational and Events Coordinator

Position Overview :

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing educational events that enhance our customers experience and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Events Planning and Execution :

  • Plan, coordinate and execute educational events within the retail space
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event logistics
  • Content Development :

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to develop educational content relevant to our industry and products.
  • Ensure that educational materials align with the brand and engage our target audience.
  • Attendee Engagement :

  • Implement strategies to maximize attendee engagement during educational events.
  • Foster a positive and interactive learning environment.
  • Logistics Management :

  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, and materials production.
  • Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Promotion and Marketing :

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote educational events through various channels.
  • Utilize digital platforms and traditional marketing methods to reach target audiences.
  • Post-Event Evaluation :

  • Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders to evaluate the success of educational events.
  • Provide recommendations for improvement and future event planning.
  • Collaboration with Educational Partners :

  • Build and maintain relationships with educational partners, schools, and institutions.
  • Explore opportunities for collaborative initiatives to enhance our educational offerings.
  • Documentation and Reporting :

  • Maintain detailed records of event planning and execution.
  • Generate post-event reports highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

    Requirements and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Education or a related field
  • Proven experience in event coordination and educational program planning
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with the ability to innovate educational events concepts.
  • Familiarity with the retail industry and understanding of customer engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event software
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Passion for education and commitment to delivering high quality events.
  • Schedule :

    Full Time Position : Monday to Friday (Weekend Availability for events is required)

    Compensation and Benefits :

    Salary : $45,000.00
