Job descriptionOversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels for production materials. Implement supply chain efficiencies to reduce costs, minimize waste, and optimize ordering cycles. Track material usage and cost forecasting to improve budgeting and resource allocation. Integrate modern technology (e.g., RFID inventory tracking, automated procurement systems) to streamline operations. Ensure the workshop is properly equipped, organized, and maintained for maximum efficiency. Oversee and develop a network of freelancers and subcontractors for specialized activations. Maintain strong vendor relationships to source high-quality materials at competitive prices. Supervise and mentor installation and fabrication teams, ensuring accountability and high performance. Lead production meetings, align team objectives, and ensure efficient project execution. Oversee hiring and training of additional team members as the department scales. Develop and implement efficient production workflows to increase output and reduce turnaround time. Source and recommend fabrication and printing equipment, tools, and materials to enhance in-house capabilities. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards, city regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure timely and cost-effective execution of small- and large-scale fabrication projects. Oversee the process of acquiring Certificates of Use, Building Permits, and other compliance-related documentation. Lead efforts in UL Certification Licensing acquisition to meet industry standards. Ensure compliance with local and national building codes and safety regulations. Assess potential expansion opportunities for additional fabrication capabilities. Serve as the primary liaison with clients to ensure high-quality execution of fabrication and installation projects. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and supply chain efficiency. Represent the company’s fabrication and installation expertise in client meetings and strategy sessions. Optimize shop operations to increase production capacity and long-term profitability. Identify growth opportunities to expand fabrication and installation services nationwide. Earn commission-based incentives based on : New business generation in fabrication and installations. Operational efficiencies that reduce costs and increase profitability. Meeting or exceeding production and sales targets. 8+ years of experience in fabrication, retail display production, experiential activations, or visual installations. Strong expertise in woodworking, CNC routing, 3D printing, and large-format printing. Hands-on experience in fabrication and installation—must be able to build, manage, and optimize workflows. Proven leadership in managing production teams, carpenters, and installation crews. Knowledge of visual installations, branding, signage, and large-format printing applications. A strong network of freelancers and industry professionals to bring in for specialized activations and builds. Experience in inventory management, procurement, and supply chain optimization. Knowledge of regulatory compliance, permitting, and certification acquisition (UL Certification, Building Permits, etc.). Excellent client communication and negotiation skills. Experience sourcing equipment, vendors, and materials for production and printing. Knowledge of paint applications, structural materials, and metal fabrication is a plus. A degree in architecture, industrial design, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Certifications in electrical work, carpentry, or OSHA safety compliance are a plus. Bilingual (English / Spanish) is preferred but not required. Must have valid U.S. work authorization.

We are seeking a Director of Fabrication & Visual Installations to oversee all aspects of fabrication, -printing, workflow optimization, inventory management, and national-scale installations, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion. This role is responsible for strategically managing production resources, implementing modern technology, and optimizing supply chain operations for long-term growth.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills to manage multiple teams—including the Senior Manager of Installations, Senior Production Manager, and in-house carpenters—while also taking a hands-on approach to fabrication, printing, and installations.
Beyond a competitive base salary, this position offers commission-based incentives for new business acquisition, operational efficiency improvements, and meeting financial and production goals. The right candidate will have significant earning potential based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Fabrication, Printing & Installations Leadership
- Oversee and actively participate in the fabrication of retail displays, experiential activations, and visual installations.
- Manage and train teams on CNC routers, 3D printing, and large-format printing equipment.
- Supervise visual installation teams and personally execute visual installations at Miami International Airport and other locations across South Florida, while managing and overseeing all visual installations at JFK, LAX, and other airports and events nationwide.
- Oversee large-format printing production for airport activations nationwide, ensuring high-quality execution for branding, signage, and experiential builds.
- Research and integrate new materials and fabrication techniques to enhance durability, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
