Job description
Kelly Engineering is partnering with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer on a direct hire Facilities Engineer position in Raleigh, NC. This position offers competitive pay based on experience and dynamic growth potential.

The Utilities & Facilities Engineer provides engineering, technical, and operational support for clean utilities, plant utilities, HVAC systems, and cleanroom infrastructure within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures systems are operated and maintained in compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements while supporting site operations, maintenance, and capital projects

What you will do:
  • Serve as an Engineering owner over plant utility systems, including HVAC, water systems, boilers, compressed air, vacuum systems
  • Support asset reliability, lifecycle planning, and spare parts management
  • Manage and support deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO
  • Lead utilities and facilities projects, upgrades, remediation efforts, and expansions
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Quality, Validation, Production, and EHS teams

Qualifications
  • Previous Utilities & Facilities Engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements
