Job descriptionMaintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systems Perform PM and corrective maintenance on all HVAC equipment and coordinate with 3rd party contractors as needed Prepare and submit summary reports of equipment conditions with recommendation for improvement Comply with all safety procedures and requirements Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codes Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required Delivers proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Ability to use hand tools and power tools applicable to trade Valid driver’s license Current Refrigeration Certification 2-10 years of related experience Knowledge of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance Experienced with chillers and compressed air systems and there control systems. Proficient in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Maintain detailed and accurate equipment repair records Establish and maintain a good working relationship with peers, suppliers, and contractors Ability to work after hours as needed Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills High School or equivalent 3 to 5 years with facilities Maintenance of manufacturing process or equivalent Large Facilities maintenance and Manufacturing experience preferred Strong technical skills and the ability troubleshoot process related issues Able to collaborate across organizational boundaries Results oriented and high commitment Data analysis and interpretation skills Hands-on, Self-Starter and able to work with minimal direction Strong mechanical / electrical fundamental understanding Results oriented and high commitment The ability to learn new technology and processes quickly Flexible and adaptable Self-motivated, accepts responsibility, positive attitude Experience with Maximo CMMS system for maintenance Our monetary peer-to-peer recognition program is tied to our and celebrates you and your colleagues’ contributions. Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Position purpose :
- Maintain and operate all HVAC systems, chillers, plumbing systems, building management system, generators, compressed air systems In a 24 hrs. / 7 day a week manufacturing process.

The range for this position is $25.25 hourly rate - $29.63 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
