Job description : Job Summary
Performs management of Plant Operations and engineering to provide preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment management, utility management, life safety compliance, physical plant maintenance / repair, and coordination of construction / renovation projects and provide logistical planning and coordinating to engineering staff.
This position assumes the role of a Safety Officer and serves as the organizations point person on management of the Environment of Care (EOC) with the goal of full compliance with all applicable regulatory agency requirements. As Facilities Manager he / she assists in managing the EOC and will be coordinated with the input and guidance of the Chief Operating Officer and the Administrative Director of Quality. The Facilities Manager is fully involved in the quality improvement program of the hospital relating to safety and the Environment of Care. As Facilities Manager he / she oversees the physical space control, safety and Environment of Care of satellite buildings and departments, relocation of equipment and departments, landscaping, property development and the emergency preparedness program.
Qualifications : High School or GED
3 5 years experience
5 years in healthcare engineering environment
3 years previous supervisory experience
