The Facilities Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting issues and delivering electrical and mechanical solutions pertaining to facilities and building maintenance. They will plan and implement improvements to the facility while ensuring compliance with existing codes and regulations. Additionally, they will support production by developing and managing predictive and preventative maintenance schedules for designated systems or equipment. They will instruct vendors and team members while consistently demonstrating appropriate safety protocols. They will also monitor and take responsibility for all documentation and expenses associated with repair records and utility costs.
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
Essential Skills and Experience:
Successful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR an Associate's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience
