Starting : $24.00 - $27.00 / hour (based on experience)

The Facility Manager - Environment of Care / Safety Officer plays an essential role in providing a safe and secure environment for the clients we serve and our staff. Facility Manager- Environment of Care / Safety Officer's Responsibilities :

• Provide a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff.
• Create a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) for the facility as well as repair work such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, furniture assembly, mechanical, etc.
• Anticipate needed repairs, upgrades, etc., to avoid future costs.
• Ensure the facility is compliant with local, state, and federal regulatory codes, OSHA standards, The Joint Commission standards, fire and life safety codes, building and engineering requirements and security standards.
• Schedule company vehicles maintenance and safety checks.
• Coordinate with Vendors and Department of Health for building repairs.
• Inspects building to minimize clients' opportunity to self-harm / suicidal behaviors.

Qualifications

Requirements :

Resume and Two References Required, Cover Letter (optional).

Knowledge of the general construction trades, mechanical repair and maintenance, and the requirement of institutional maintenance of comparable sized facilities. Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent and completion of specialized course work or training in institutional or facilities maintenance. Prefer a minimum of 3 years' experience in facilities management and safety management including supervisory experience. Knowledge of Information Technology. Must be willing and physically capable of responding to a physically aggressive client using the CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention method. This procedure may include but is not limited to kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting.
