Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital located in Milford, Mass. and serves patients from more than 20 towns in Central Massachusetts. The 149-bed medical center is a nonprofit, acute-care facility, where more than 300 primary care and specialty physicians are committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Statement of Purpose :
Security will work as a team to maintain a secure and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff. Conduct patrols and other security duties in order to protect the life and property of all people and hospital premises against fire, theft and vandalism. Will intervene in situations with combative individuals and defuse potentially violent behavior.
Qualifications :
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Certification / License : Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (M.O.A.B.) certification within 30 days of hire. An Active Driver's License required.
Experience : 1 year experience in Security & or Health Care Experience preferred.
Must be comfortable working with computer software for daily documentation. Excellent communication skills a must.
MRMC Differentials :
Hospital differentials are : $3.50 hourly for evenings , $4.75 hourly for nights , and $2.75 hourly for weekends . All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
