Responsible for all aspects of facility, equipment, and system maintenance to ensure the home is maintained to the highest standards.
Responsible for following a robust planned maintenance program on proper cycle and time intervals, and for consistently monitoring facilities to identify quality of service issues and other recommendations for repairs, maintenance, and adjustments.
The role will require day-to-day operational execution at the highest level and support the Maintenance Manager’s efforts to develop a long-term strategic direction for more efficient, stable, and productive facilities operation.

Assist the Maintenance Manager and Director of Facilities in managing major repairs and capital improvements such as roofs, HVAC, lighting and controls, and other major projects.
Work in collaboration with other departments, i.e. landscaping team, estate manager, principals, etc.
Performs daily rounds and equipment checks and conducts regular walks of property to ensure grounds and facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard.
Ensures adequate inventory of parts, supplies, tools, and materials available to minimize unneeded downtime.
Provide vendor performance assessment and provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager and Director of Facilities.
Remain knowledgeable of the latest technology concerning utilities / energy, and preventive maintenance.
Maintain the utmost confidentiality of information related to the home, the homeowner, guest, and staff, including, but not limited to, financial decisions and personal information.
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Requires high level attention to detail. Must be able to solve problems and remain calm and alert under pressure.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Four plus years' experience working in the operation and maintenance of a facility with
commercial grade mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (including four-pipe HVAC), whole-home automation systems, and audio-visual information technology systems and equipment.
Experience in following robust planned maintenance programs.
Ability to be proactive in identifying issues, to solve problems in a practical manner, and to deal with a variety of variables in situations that have little or no standardization.
Commitment to the maintenance of a very high level of cleanliness and excellent organization at all times.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (orally and in writing) with non-technical personnel regarding issues and proposed solutions and to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
Ability and willingness to work with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work weekends on occasion as requested.
