The right candidate must have 5+ years of Texas Family Law experience along with attention to detail, strong organizational and drafting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and orders for review, approval, and use by the attorney.Correspond with clients, opposing counsel and/or opposing parties, and court coordinators.Prepare spreadsheets and documents for Inventory and Appraisement and calculate child support.File pleadings with the court.Coordinate issuance and delivery of subpoenas.Conduct intake calls with potential new clients and prepare attorneys for initial consultation.Assist attorneys in preparing for mediations, depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences.Assist attorneys in analyzing and resolving problems/challenges that arise in family law cases.Draft discovery requests/responses, assist clients in complying with discovery requests and document production.Calendar relevant due dates regarding discovery and all deadlines associated with the TRCP.
