This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

  • The Team & Structure: Step into a highly autonomous clinical environment where you are the sole provider on-site, fully supported by a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, or RN. Benefit from the backup of a strong, experienced group of regional network providers available for immediate consultation.
  • Call Structure: No call required.
  • Practice Setting & Patient Volume: Lead operations within a Tri-State Community Clinic (TSC) care environment.
  • Drive Clinical Excellence: Enhance regional healthcare outcomes by independently conducting comprehensive health assessments, formulating definitive diagnoses, and managing acute and chronic family medicine conditions for a diverse patient panel.
  • Elevate Patient Access: Optimize local care pathways by ordering, interpreting, and performing diagnostic testing, while executing customized, high-quality preventative and therapeutic treatment plans.
  • Empower Through Care Continuity: Foster long-term clinical compliance and deep community trust by providing robust patient and family education regarding medication management, lifestyle modifications, and proactive preventative care.
  • Systems & Efficiency: Maximize clinical workflows and support inter-system care integration utilizing the health system's advanced electronic medical records (EMR) platform for timely, accurate documentation.
  • Professional Mentorship: Cultivate the next generation of medical providers through optional student rotation mentorship and academic engagement with local NP or PA training programs.

This position operates within the Tri-State Community Clinics network under Ascension St. Vincent Evansville. As a premier medical destination in the southern region, the Evansville ministry delivers comprehensive medical-surgical care, advanced maternity and perinatal services, and stands ready as a designated Level 2 Trauma Center to serve the tri-state area with a highly integrated referral network.
