Job Summary : Provides comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families, serving as a primary care provider. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, promoting preventive care, and collaborating with patients to maintain their overall health and well-being.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
- Conduct routine medical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, and provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with specialists for referral and consultation when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on lifestyle modifications, preventive care, and health promotion strategies.
- Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, addressing both physical and psychosocial needs.
