• Family Assistant & Academic Support (Part-Time) Location : Near Fort Hunt, VA Schedule : 10–20 hours per week Flexible daytime and after-school hours Compensation : $25–35 per hour, depending on experience About the Role We are seeking a reliable, organized, and warm part-time Family Assistant to support our children with academic needs and assist with light household responsibilities.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values flexibility, and is comfortable balancing academic support with family assistance tasks.
• Core Responsibilities Support children with ISL, homework completion, and academic organization.
• Drive children to and from extracurricular activities using your personal vehicle.
• Perform light household tidying and organization.
• Assist with light meal preparation.
• Handle grocery and laundry pickup as needed.
• Walk and care for a small puppy.
• Schedule & Hours 10–20 hours per week.
• Combination of daytime and after-school hours.
• Flexible scheduling with advance planning.
• Required Qualifications Prior experience working with children.
• Comfort supporting homework or academic organization (tutoring experience is a plus).
• Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Proof of insurance.
• Comfort assisting with household errands and pet care.
• Two professional references required.
• Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
• Preferred Qualifications Background in education, tutoring, childcare, or family assistant roles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
