Job Title : Family Attorney
Location : Arlington, Texas
Salary : $110,000 - $135,000 annually
Overview :
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Family Attorney to join our diverse legal team in Texas. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong commitment to advocating for clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support disputes, and more. The successful candidate will be skilled in negotiation, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution while maintaining the highest ethical standards and a client-focused approach.
Responsibilities :
Client Representation :
Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, child and spousal support, property division, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
Case Management :
Manage all aspects of assigned cases, including client communication, legal research, drafting of pleadings, and motions.
- Prepare and review legal documents such as petitions, agreements, and court filings.
Court Representation :
Attend hearings, trials, and mediations to advocate for clients' interests effectively.
Negotiation and Mediation :
Conduct negotiations to resolve disputes amicably, when possible.
Legal Guidance :
Counsel clients on the legal aspects and implications of their cases.
Compliance :
Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and professional ethics in family law practice.
Qualifications :
Education and Licensing :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Experience :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law or a closely related field.
