Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified Hand Solder Operator III candidates to work on-site with our client inMelbourne, FL.

The Hand Solder Operator is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components on a variety of
circuit board assemblies encompassing Pin Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technologies.

Here's what you'd do:

• Follow assembly procedures and process documentation.
• Verify integrity of material to be assembled.
• Assemble and/or solder electronic components in specific printed circuit board locations,
  following procedure and/or visual aide instruction.
• Inspect circuit board assembly parts to determine soldering requirements.
• Pre-form component leads per process documentation.
• Identify and report defective components.
• Responsible for the accuracy of work-in process associated with work cell.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of work area and surrounding work space.
• Understand and follow all applicable ISO and job specific procedures.
• Maintain ESD integrity within production environment.
• May train other employees.

Job Requirements Here's what requirements you'll need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hand-soldering Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies
• Active IPC J-STD-001 Certification or minimum of 1 year of experience with soldering in Collins

• Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member.

• Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills.
• Experience with high-volume work.
