Seasonal Dock Hand Opportunity At Ballpark Boathouse

Ballpark Boathouse, managed by Guest Services, Inc., is now hiring seasonal dock hands for the 2026 season. The season runs from May through September and we are open 3 days a week. The dock hand position is part-time and all staff are required to work at least one day a weekend as well as the summer holidays. The Boathouse Dock hand is responsible for assisting with all boathouse services offered, quality control, and cash handling procedures; maintains a clean and safe dock area, assists guests safely getting in and out of boats, and secure company property.

Essential Functions :

• Maintaining a safe environment at the boating area, following appropriate procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with docking of boats and safely help customers on and off rental equipment.
• Boathouse maintenance such as cleaning, weeding, removing trash, organizing, and ordering supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, while directing customer issues to supervisor or unit manager.
• Provide First Aid & CPR to guests if needed.
• Identify items and corresponding cost of items and tabulate bills using cash register, calculator, or other price equipment.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credit, or change due to customers accurately.
• Maintain cash register and contents within.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to your manager.
• Any other duties required or requested by your Supervisor or Manager.
