Job Title : Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for creating, detailing, developing, and modifying models for the heavy-duty industrial conveyor market. You will prepare drawings and technical documents for conveyor fabrication and installation.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop 3D models (parts and assemblies) using CAD software.
• Detail drawings of basic 3D models (parts and assemblies) using industry-standard notations for machining notes and weld symbols.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for components in shear, bending, and torsion.
• Learn the various processes of the Project Engineering team and seek out ways to improve these processes.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers and Project Engineers in developing concepts and solving design issues.
• Become familiar with various manufacturing methods within the industry.
• Demonstrate increasing proficiency in the use of 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Fulfill any other tasks assigned by the business.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $44.00 / hr.
