Position Overview The Senior Account Executive is responsible for achieving UES sales and service objectives by building and maintaining strong business relationships with current and prospective clients. Responsibilities Maintain existing customer relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities. Generate sales leads aligned with company growth objectives in end markets like Federal, Military, Water / Wastewater, Datacenters, etc. Represent UES professionally through all forms of communication and interactions. Maintain regular communication with the Branch Managers across the State of Florida to align with service and client growth priorities. Provide necessary documentation and communications to support the timely and accurate execution of projects. Maintain a visible presence with clients in the field to support the sales cycle and foster client trust. Attend marketing and networking events, including those outside of standard business hours. Collaborate with Regional, Branch, and Department Managers, and fellow Account Executives to meet team and company goals. Respond promptly to client inquiries and escalate concerns to the appropriate internal stakeholders. Solicit client feedback on project satisfaction and identify potential future needs. Maintain confidentiality regarding client pricing, bids, and proprietary information. Track and manage leads, opportunities, contacts, proposals, and sales goals in a CRM or tracking system. Research and reach out to potential clients, including cold calling when appropriate. Participate in required internal sales meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of prior sales and business development experience, preferably in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; relevant industry certifications preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint. Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and organizational skills Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision. Proficient in basic math and data analysis to compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Solid understanding of the construction industry and related regulatory environment. Travel Requirements ? This position requires occasional domestic overnight travel, approximately 10% to 20% of the time, to support business objectives and client engagements. Travel may be both scheduled and on short notice, depending on project needs. Destinations typically include job sites, field locations, or regional offices, where work may be conducted in outdoor or operational environments.
