Federal Sector Mechanical Engineer-

Halff has an immediate opening for a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) to work fully remote.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :

• Responsible for planning and preparing engineered contract documentation for assigned projects, working as a Project Manager to meet deadlines, aiding in or providing engineering decisions, and collaborating with other engineers, architects, and / or owners.
• Responsible for projects which may consist of performing and scheduling work to ensure attainment of scope / project performance. Creating mechanical and plumbing project construction documents, design analyses and mechanical system designs.
• Responsible for on-site visits as necessary to collect existing condition information, attend meetings, respond to construction inquiries, and report on-site observations. Construction activities when necessary may include shop drawing reviews, responding to RFI's and coordinating field installations as required for each project to meet deadlines.
• Assist in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Help mentor and develop the skills of junior designers and engineers.
