This is a part-time, non-eligible position limited to 1,000 hours per year. The ideal candidate will be available to work 2 days per week at the Nature Center (9 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm) and willing to pick up evening or weekend shifts 5-8 pm at the dog park for a total of 16-24 hours per week year round.
Do you enjoy providing great customer service and helping create memorable experiences for park visitors? As a Parks Helper – Cashier , you’ll welcome guests, process purchases, and support daily park operations for the Red Oaks Nature Center.
What You’ll Do :
- Keep the Nature Center clean and safe for daily operations and provide support to park supervisors and naturalists.
- Interact with visitors, answer questions, and assist guests with program enrollment while providing educational information about the park.
- Maintain a clean and safe dog park environment by interacting with patrons, answering questions, and educating guests on park rules.
- Walk dog park runs and inspect the grounds regularly to identify and address hazards to ensure dog and visitor safety.
