This remote role will be responsible for translating configured technology and business processes into practical, easy-to-understand training that enables users to confidently adopt the platform.

The Technical Trainer will work closely with implementation leads, application subject-matter experts, and client stakeholders to develop training materials, facilitate virtual and instructor-led sessions, support users through system deployments, and measure training effectiveness.

This position does not offer employment visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of experience delivering adult or software end-user training, or 3+ years of software training experience with a professional training credential such as CPTD, APTD, CPTM, or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated experience training users on enterprise SaaS, ERP, or project management platforms such as Kahua, e-Builder, Procore, Oracle Unifier, Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.

  • Strong instructional design skills with experience developing role-based curricula, user guides, job aids, quick-reference materials, and eLearning content.

  • Ability to translate technical system functionality and business processes into clear, user-friendly instructions for technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to effectively lead both virtual and instructor-led training sessions.

  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and virtual training/collaboration tools.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable federal suitability determination.

  • Preferred: Hands-on Kahua experience, including Kahua certifications or coursework.

  • Preferred: Experience supporting federal construction or facilities programs and familiarity with RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change management, cost controls, document management, and project closeout.

  • Preferred: Experience with eLearning/LMS platforms such as Articulate, Camtasia, or TalentLMS.

  • Preferred: PMP, CAPM, Prosci, or related certification and familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and develop role-based training curricula for Kahua applications, including Document Management, Cost Management, Project Management, Field applications, and client-specific configurations.

  • Create and maintain training materials such as instructor guides, participant guides, quick-reference guides, job aids, eLearning modules, and other user-support resources.

  • Customize training content to reflect client-specific workflows, terminology, configurations, and business processes.

  • Deliver engaging virtual and instructor-led training to audiences ranging from field personnel and project teams to program leadership and executives.

  • Prepare training environments, sample projects, records, tasks, and scenarios that reflect realistic user workflows.

  • Facilitate train-the-trainer and super-user programs to help client organizations establish sustainable internal training capabilities.

  • Provide post-go-live user support through office hours, refresher training, targeted coaching, and other adoption activities.

  • Track attendance, evaluations, training completion, LMS records, user readiness, and adoption metrics.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness, identify knowledge gaps and recurring user issues, and continuously improve training materials and delivery methods.

  • Participate in discovery, configuration, and deployment planning sessions to identify training requirements and impacts early in the implementation lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with implementation, application, data migration, change management, and help desk teams to ensure training activities align with deployment and go-live schedules.

  • Maintain an organized, version-controlled training library in accordance with program quality and documentation requirements.
