Job Details :
The College of Pharmacy on the Atlanta, Georgia campus is searching for a Post-doctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Nader Moniri.
Responsibilities :
The Post-doctoral Fellow will help design, conduct, and analyze research studies under the supervision of the laboratory Principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Nader Moniri. The postdoctoral fellow will receive further and specific advanced training from the PI and will also be responsible for collaborating with and training of graduate students.
Specific responsibilities, under the direction of the PI, include :
1) Design and execution of experiments
2) Evaluation and analysis of results
3) Preparation of scientific manuscripts and grants
4) Teaching and training of other trainees
Qualifications :
A PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or related discipline is required. Candidates must possess research qualifications in the area of receptor or molecular pharmacology, biochemistry, cell biology, or related discipline, as evidenced by publication record. Additionally, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
