Job Summary
The Denver Health Neurotrauma Fellowship Program is a comprehensive and challenging one-year non-ACGME program based at the Denver Health main campus in Denver, CO. The fellowship program is designed to train future leaders in the profession by providing quality advanced training in academic neurotrauma, including both cranial and spine injury. We are proud to be an integral part of the tradition of training residents and fellows at our premier Level I Academic Medical Center and Community Health Clinics. The cranial focus of the Neurotrauma Fellowship will include both surgical and intensive care management, particularly targeting therapy based on advanced multi-modality monitoring. The spinal focus of the Neurotrauma Fellowship will target optimal diagnosis and management of trauma to the spinal column and cord. Those applicable surgical options will be performed in conjunction with attending spinal surgeons in neurological surgery, offering exposure to a variety of approaches and techniques. Non-surgical and critical care options amenable to spinal column and cord injuries will also be an integral part of the fellowship. The Neurotrauma Fellow will be a well-rounded, hardworking, and motivated trainee interested in joining our fellowship.
