Under direct supervision, operates basic saw types such as pop-up, miter, web saws to cut planks, timbers, or boards according to work orders.
- Reviews work order to determine cut(s) to be made.
- Adjusts saw for required cuts.
- Adjusts speed of saw and feed rolls.
- Stacks cut lumber after processing.
- Observes safety procedures at all times.
